I thought the RFL had to vet all owners of SL clubs and check their background.
If TL is to be classed as the owner, surely this must have happened and if it goes through, they must have approved (unless it is purely a recommendation from the RFL and they cannot actually block a deal)?
Any confirmation of this (or at least the theory behind it)?
(Mrs B alluded to this question as well, a few posts back)

There [imight conceivably[/i be an issue around liquidity of assets.
That said, I remain somewhat dubious and I know I'm not alone. I'll happily offer to lead the apology delegation, as and when. We should know if it will be needed imminently. |
