Good news for rovers fans if the cash turns up and any financial concerns disappear. Always worries me when people come in waving huge amounts of money when there is seemingly no chance of any return on that investment. Why would someone who has allegedly made a huge amount of money (and it must be HUGE if he is going to blow £15m of it) throw it away? Having said that, it's to be hoped the cash is invested in infrastructure and developing the important parts of club which will give financial stability away from any rich benefactor - this is certainly what i think pearson is trying to achieve at Hull and why I'd be worried if I were a fan of Huddersfield - you need a sustainable business model and not reliance on individuals to prop the club up. |

I think this is the bit that's made so many sceptical.

Hull don't need to average anywhere near 14500 to break even. Pearson knows if they do he will be making a sizeable profit. Any cup finals we reach would significantly boost that |

Even if I won £150m on the eurolottery I wouldn't waste £15m of it on Hull FC. Much rather invest it wisely on booze, holidays, fast cars and faster women |
