I didn't see the game, but from reading the comments and stats it sounds like you have plenty of improvement in the team.

Match fitness and a few better defenders back from injury and you should have a very competitive side.

I imagine the side will only get better as the different players learn to work together.

Campese should have been spelled, he was shattered in the last 20 minutes, he made some bad decisions and missed tackles in this period.

Kenny Sio should play at full-back next week, he's too good to sit out on the wing.

Thaler was a disgrace, but thats what we've come to expect from a rugby league referee.

It would be more like news if he did miss. He has a lot of games with a 100% record, but sometimes when he misses one he makes it 2 or 3 for the game.

I saw the tries back last night and the obstruction on Horne was a joke even allowing for the new interpretation this season.

im prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt as a lot of the missed tackles seemed to be in the last 20mins when we ran out of steam and leeds offloaded us to death i think missing baily and weyman had a big effect in the last 20 also

Thaler made two really bad decisions both led to tries, the not knock on and the obstruction. Other than that he was ok, alright the poor side of average but thats as good as it gets. But this shouldn't have cost us the game, widnes got a lot rougher end of the stick on Thursday and still managed to get a result.



The main reason for the defeat was our inability to defend, not just in the latter part of the game but in the 1st half as well. Leeds looked like scoring on every set near our line which is a worry. I agree that Campese didn't help Welham, but I still don;t think he helped himself either, he just looks shot to me

After watching Hull KR tv I thought the try by Dixon which was disallowed, should have stood. I've seen dodgier tries given.
