Leeds certainly did.

And after tonight we are no worse off despite what a few empty heads from the west of the city are alluding to

Whether the final score reflected the game is a matter of conjecture , but that is how the game ended.



Personally , I'm not despondent - we've another game to look forward to.

I'm still proud of the club and the lads, just chuffed to be the top team in the city and making the play-offs three years into SL, well done boys .

We were beaten by a much better team last night. Their forwards dominated and to be honest you could see this type of scoreline coming in the first 10 minutes. We just had to work to hard to make yards, it was always going to catch up with us towards the end. We had far to many important players missing to compete with Leeds, which was compounded (unfortunate use of words in the situation i know) by the injury to Chev, which weakened us further.

I said before the game that it would be our heaviest defeat of the season. However, I think we played OK, especially in the first half. You need your full first choice squad, to play your best, and a bit of luck to beat Leeds, especially away from home, and sadly we ticked none of those boxes last night.



I don't think the scoreline was a true reflection of the game, but congratulations to Leeds for not letting us score a point in the second half. I think mid-way through the second half when we knew the game was lost, minds may have turned to next week.

Isn't it funny how injuries have just been an unimportant distraction and source of great pleasure for all you dobbins until now





All of a sudden the mighty HKR have had to play without a mere FOUR players and it's injuries...injuries...troops coming back....decimated squad....injuries....oh and a few more injuries !!!!









WTF would your mighty squad have done without 8 or 9 players missing EVERY WEEK ????
