I'd say the "stand or fall on these decisions" part equates to "could have lost his job".
Neil, if you think he's been hard done to in games, believe it or not you have the power to believe that and ignore them! It's a stupid thing to say that his job could fall on decisions like this, especially since you've just offered him a new deal on the back of it!
(I suppose that's the job description for NH though: Do well against the neighbours)

As for CS, I said a top 8 place as a minimum, it certainly looks now that it is achievable. With so many factors throughout the season that have been out of his control, he deserves the extension.
