What a result,One of the best away wins considering opposition and margin of scoreline in many a year,I thought we had a chance but not a bigger win as that,Charlie strikes again,He's never wrong

Bit of tinkering in the games so far this season and weve got away with a couple of scares but seeing the team tonight,That's the best 17 we can put out in IMO,A win against Feath and i'll start to believe that the league winners shield maybe coming back to Don Valley,Bramall Lane or randomly placed somwere in the city that wants us in one of the finest sheffield taxis.

Sheffield were excellent tonight against a very poor defence ,we are in financial trouble again and I think its time to give up, we cant get out of the mess were in when most champinship side are bringing less than 50 supporters . Good luck fir the rest of the sason.

Whatever it is that the team are on, I wish Mark would let me have some. Didn't expect a scoreline like that.

Did'nt make the trip to LSV tonight but listened to leigh radio commentary first half sounded superb Leigh gave it a go start of second half but fantastic result. To anyone who went how was the ref the commentators were far from impressed with his performance....... of course they were heavily biased sounded like a fair few decisions went our way first half

Thought our following was pretty respectable to be fair considering what a nightmare it is to get over to the dark side of the Pennines on a Friday night. We've never had the biggest away following. If your club was run correctly you wouldn't have to rely on big away supports to keep financially stable.



Anyway, on to the game, I thought we were excellent tonight. Blew them away in the first half, thanks in part to Leigh's indiscipline. They threatened to come back a couple of times in the second half but we scored at the right times to keep a comfortable cushion. The best side won, no doubt about that.



I didn't think Menzie's "stamp" looked good from where I was. I'm not suggesting for one second he deliberately made contact with Littler's head but he did seem to deliberately kick out. We'll have to see what the judiciary say but at least he'll be able to play in the Fev game, if he gets banned for a couple of games after that it shouldn't be a disaster.



QLT seemed to be back to his sharpness from last season tonight, and Patch Walker had his best game for the club so far.



If we play like that next week we have every chance of turning Fev over. Looking forward to it!

Come on E.S.O.you know no matter how well you play you can't beat Fev at Bramall Lane, history proves it

though i know records ate there to be beaten!

Your right we shouldn't rely on any away support because apart from 2 or 3 teams there isn't any , having watched leigh for over 40 years I do think we are on borrowed time, anyway like I said u have a great team can u tell our board how u do it financially cause it looks like we haven't a clue!! Oh and Stokes hates leigh with a passion menzie should of been at least sin binned , but that isnt an excuse for the defeat we were out played , would still like to meet him and stick that whistle up his backside.

To finish had I been the ref I would have sent Yeres off because it was nasty.Bet Yeres knows it too ie that it was nasty.

We were comprehensively beaten tonight, by a very good team. I don't like Stokes, but any Leigh fan who thinks he cost us the game is deluded. Out-thought, out-muscled, out-paced and very well beaten. Oh for an organising half back like Brambani, or Walker! Well done - your game on Thursday should be a belter.



Oh, and whilst your support wasn't great in numbers, they supported your team with passion. For anyone to attempt that journey on a Friday night, is highly commendable. I wonder how many we'll bring to DV, for the return on a Friday - not many more, I'll wager!

To be fair I looked at my dad straight away and said: "he's off."



Don't think the ref got a good view of it and it's a sure sign it's going on report when he consults the berk with the flag.
