Stanley Gene is returning to Hull KR to coach the U18's as seen in the Sporting Life.

Would have been good for our club under a different coach.

They are welcome to him. On this occasion Matt wasn't the issue. Gene is a parasite who only came to Fax for a free ride.

Really? The guy who gave many years great service to a number of clubs and whom was loved by fans and staff alike comes to little Halifax and is suddenly a trouble maker? Dosnt wash with me I'm afraid.

Me neither, the guy lives and breathes rugby league and puts a lot time into the game on both sides ic the world. There had to be more to it, but that's in the past and the fute looks exciting

With respect I think he took us for a ride and then nearly to the cleaners.

Same board that agreed to pay him what they did? Hes not the first person to come in to the club and offer opinions of how it could be run more proffesionally only to be shunted out of the door is he?

Tony and I have had some major differences over the years but I always respect him as someone with solid knowledge and love of the game (and our club)



Whilst there may be players with an axe to grind with MC, pleae don't kid yourself that Judas Gene has any credibility in that argument. I don;t care what he achieved elsewhere - what he did at Fax was unforgiveable.

I liked Stanley on the field but he wasn't fit to wear the shirt and wearing that blue and white shirt with pride means more than trophies...........
