yes good luck to the trio.Barber appeared to have fallen out of favour but may have been injured.thought we needed a third hooker too.

Not seen Billy play recently but I'd have thought the step up to a third hooker position is a bit too early for him. Only 18 so plenty of time and improved his game year on year at Siddal.

These signings don't exactly fill me with excitement,just run of the mill players unless they prove otherwise,I'm sure Richard knows what he's doing but I think we need a couple of quality signings to make our opponents sit up and take notice, let's give Richard the tools to do the job, and give fans a reason to come to the Shay again next season is so important.

We need to see how things pan out when the season starts. If we can get Miles fit plus Sharpe scores his usual seasonal tally we have two strike players there who can add real class to our side. I will be there alongside Mrs LTD, season ticket already bought- based on last seasons improvement.

They are squad players, not everyone can sit up and make the opposition take notice.



I thought Barber did a very good job in the team and it was no fluke that he kept getting picked in front of the more well known players at points during the season. I thought Eccleston actually did look the part come the end of the season and he reminds me a lot of Lee Paterson. The game against Bradford barring the one mistake he had a blinder. He isnt going to be first choice same as the other two but when you pick up knocks you need players to come in who can fit in and do a good job. Those two can do that.



We could have got away without signing anyone this season, we already have a very good team in place, Marshall just wanted to add some depth in key areas and he has done that.

Greg you have hit the nail on the head they are squad players add to these 3 Pott and Saxty and you have 5 squad players,possibly Richard thinks that what he needs I'm not sure we surprised a few teams at back end of last season this season they will know what to expect I have a feeling our squad will be added to before Christmas by a big name to excite the fans.

The league will be much more open this coming season anything can happen at Leigh Degsy may abdicate if things go wrong and the Jimmy Lowes factor at Bradford could be our advantage would like to see a big fobust centre signed.

Don't think it's about anyone we may sign it's about how much more improvement RM can get out of the players he has.We have 3 centres vying for 2 positions,Tyrer,Heaton,Smeaton and plenty back up...Salty,Eccleston,Saxton etc

IMO we are ok there.
