When will he be ready.



Cant comment not seen him play.

That was after he had a good game against Fev and basically reads that he won't be getting a look in this year. I mean what could go wrong? Its not like we do not have the same players making the same mistakes over and over to make it worth giving someone else a try is it.



What I will say is that when I have seen him play he has the most accurate passing I have seen from any Fax half back for a long time something which given our lack of points scored suggests is a quality that may be welcomed.

What could go wrong? Well he could get battered around due to his size and be put back a couple of years. He may have the game to play but it is very physical with the players around him getting bigger and stronger each year.

In the olden days I would say that is where our pack comes in, now it looks like our pack arent allowed to bully anyone.

I didn't notice until after the game but he was on reserves team sheet a couple of weeks back when we played Hull who had a big quality reserve side out but if he played can't say that he stood out.

Hell most likely be in the starting line up once the top 4 is sorted, we need to be patient, he's getting close, and hell be hungry as hell.

I know this season isn't done, but im looking forward to next season, Morris, JWH, Moore and Punchard are the future of the club, and will only get better.

Without knowing the physical size of the lad it is hard to comment, however does any one remember Olly Marnes getting wiped out by Dean Sampson at Castleford , he was never the same player after, I seem to remember he sited work commitments for irregular appearances after that, then later turned out for Halifax Rugby Union for a while.

I am not saying the same would happen, and you can t wrap them in cotton wool, but it is sensible to protect him if it can be done this year.

When I started this it was only a question as to see if he was ready. If he isnt fair enough.

Uptonfax you make a very fair and valid question, and a reasonable one to ask, not all little guys have needed protection from the off, Rob Burrows for one. So a lot can come down to individual confidence, maybe he feels he is not quite ready for it.

Unless he comes out and publicly tells us we will have to wait for RM to make that decision.
