| Quote RhinoNeil="RhinoNeil"icon_lol.gif Im not saying we lost becuase of two hookers. Sure we played shocking. We were very flat and lathargic in the second half. An extra forward would have helped a lot.'"
Again mate having 2 hookers or an extra forward is by the by! We turned the ball over early in the count all night! From the backs to the pack, we blew the game without cas really braking our line. We forced our selves to play the game on our own line instead of down the other end of the park. chase' short kicking was outstanding and took the game away from us. We ripped cas appart plenty of times then threw the ball away. Cas were good for the win but the Leeds players will know they should have won that game and poor ball rentention which lead to a non existing kicking are to blame.
it's not good enough at this level

| If we're going to go with 1 hooker that it must be Diskin.
Buderus was flagging badly at the end of his first stint and couldn't get to the ptb.
Having said that, I will put it down to early season lack of fitness and the god awful state of the pitch.

Quicker we get that pitch sorted the better. Eastwood was also out on his feet too.
To please JP we could of had Big Willie Mason with Buderus' wage.

| If we are going to play with two hookers, why not start with Diskin when the heavy defensive work is needed and keep Buderus fresh as he will be the better impact player

| neither hooker covered themselves in glory last night, diskins attempted kick to nobody when he dropped it was shocking. however neither got a quick play the ball to work off and i would expect both to get better.

| You have better hooker than the pair of them in Paul McShane, i have watched him play a few times now and this kid is class, would be interested to see what you think of him.
I feel you do need 2 hookers in ya side because its the most difficult position on the field to play. But saying that i watched Huddersfield beat Bradford last night and Shaun Lunt played 62 minutes before been replaced only to return after 10 minutes rest that was a fantastic effort.

It could be argued that with Buderus instead of Diskin we could have actually won more GFs - it is unlikely that we would have won less?

| Due to my attention being diverted whist I adjusted the tartan rug, could someone confirm which hooker it was that bombed that cast iron try at the start of the second half.
Be a shame to castigate an innocent player for that particular piece of tery don't ya think?.....

The same way that made the clean break in the first place?
And he didn't bomb a cast iron try - he simply failed to keep hold of the ball when tackled. He was never going to beat the cover to the line and was duly caught.

There was one bit of quick thinking from Buderus that impressed me last night. He got us a penalty on the last tackle when he noticed the markers weren't stood square. Not only did he spot it and take advantage of it, he managed to still be in a position to offload the ball if the penalty wasn't given, which was essential on the 6th tackle.
