| I am in full agreement with Brian McClennan that the match review panel should look at the incident at the end of tonights match. The vicious assault by George Carmont on Danny McGuire was disgraceful!!! I mean you'd think that with seconds to go he'd be backing up Pat Richards to potentially score the winning try, rather than deliberately thrusting his back into the hand of Danny "I've never done anything wrong in my life" McGuire!
When the match review panel does look at this incident on the request of Mr McClennan, I do hope they take firm action! I suggest banning the aforementioned Mr McClennan from ever being interviewed as he seems to have difficulty stringing together a coherant sentance.  |

Surprised McClennan commented on the incident when he clearly didn't have a clue what actually happened. He was insinuating that Maguire had been the victim of foul play.
Hopefully the injury will prove not to be as bad as it looked on tv, because it was a needless piece of foul play from Maguire.

McGuire's injury wasn't from the 'tackle' on Carmont - it was after when Carmont stood on McGuires leg. The Sky team was too busy showing reruns of the Richards/Donald incident when it happened. |
