Warrington look a very good side this year - will take a lot to beat them (only question for me is if they're peaking too early...a mistake Tony Smith has made before unfortunately)

Apart from the Lee Smith strip he got it bang on.



Warrington were very good and will take some stopping.

I thought he was shocking. But then he's *always* shocking. This is not about decisions going against Leeds or anything like that: it's that every week, with every team, the sheer amount of randomly-generated penalties he blows for that other refs let go will frustrate, and in tight games (so not tonight) will decide a match more effectively than the efforts of the players.



How many penalties were there today, in a not ill-disciplined match? 20? 25? With any other referee in the league there would have been 10 or 12. Child stands absolutely alone on this, and he's not fit for purpose as a referee.

Whilst the Ref is not consistent in any game he takes charge of we were sheeeeiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttteeeee.

Warrington deserved to win tonight but we are in May. I think it would be a foolish man to decide now who the best team this year will be.

Childs is not my favourite ref, but you can't blame him for the attitude of some of our players when a call goes against them. Giving away a daft penalty, then gobbing off simply compounds the original brain fart, and puts the entire team on the back foot.
