Unless there's a white knight Bulls could be going into liquidation rather than administration. HMRC don't mess around now with sports clubs after having their fingers burnt by Leeds Utd and Portsmouth.



I'm not sure what that would mean with the players. Whether their contracts are voided, whether the insolvency people conduct a dutch auction or what.

Who is the one running it who will be in trouble here? They have openly admitted that a six figure offer was on the table for Bateman, and have indicated that offers were made for one or two others.



That been the case they could have paid a large portion of debt before getting to this point, but chose to keep hold of the players.

If we sign poop like Elima, then bang goes my season ticket. We already have an average backrow, and one of them the same type of player in Hauraki. Hauraki is poor but better than Elima, and already has a contract to be paid.



To be honest you can keep Kopczak and Whitehead too.



If we make signings it needs to be improvements to what we have, or a long term plan improvement. I can't see what the Bulls offer that would fall under that criteria. Cheap doesn't make it worthwhile.
