This might have been discussed already. Is Pryce undroppable from no.6? I remember him learning his trade on wing & at centre at Bradford. He seems to be less effective these days, especially with the play the ball being slowed down. With the current shortage of any decent England centre's (Bridge & Shenton have to be the worse centre pairing since Mather & Powell) or wingers, couldn't he resurrect his career out wide. He's still got plenty of pace & a eye for a gap. He's already behind Tomkins & McGuire in the international pecking order at stand off.

I'd love to see Wheeler & Eastmond in the halfs with Scott Moore comin in too. Maybe i'm bein harsh or just stupid,but can't we shift him out wide?

I said for last 8 weeks of the season that pryce should have been in centre.

=whiteLeon Pryce has a big year in 2010. We will be looking to him to support Arnold. How we remember him in future years will come down to how he performs next season.



At time in 2009, =whiteLeon appeared to be trying to do it all by himself, as though there is a little gremlin in his ear saying "you have something to prove."



If he starts to draw the line and use the men outside him, his dummy step routine will start to pay off more. He can be devastating running the ball, but not when then opposition know what is coming.

If the whole team wasn't so awful perhaps you could criticise Pryce.



But looking at the debacle that was our performance level last year, can you single Pryce out?

Surely not!



This is the player that Mugwump insisted was the "best player in Super League bar none".

Nobody should be undroppable. 2010 is a big year for Leon Pryce and if he doesnt shape up Gary Wheeler should be given a run at 6. We cant afford to keep playing underachieving players and that doesnt just go for Pryce the whole team.

To single him out as somebody has said may be a little unfair.



He has the X factor but they style of our play and the standard of our play last year coupled with the way the game was referred didn't help him at all.

I didnt just single out Leon Pryce I also said the whole team!

Although it seems easy and somewhat sensible to moan about Leon's contribution (or lack of) last year, I do also[/i feel he was somewhat hang out to dry with our predictable attack.



As soon as we started to spread the ball, one defender could rush out on Pryce who was expecting the ball at 2nd receiver and we'd still pass it straight to him, rather than adapting and punishing the hole created.

If he didnt have such a huge Ego and had the motivation to learn this position properly, he could have been one of the best centres for decades.
