The ref had no decision but to put it on report as he had not seen anything.

He obviously had seen the tackle but thought it was fair, its not like it was an off the ball incident or behind his back.



This is not the kind of thing I want to see in RL. I want to keep RL a mans game and save playground antics like this and simulation for football.



Maybe a hefty penalty for the official compaliner is the accused is vindicated?

things that the ref and touch judge havent seen. At the end of the day, we dont want any more Melbourne style chicken wings coming into our game than there already is.

To be honest I think wilkin made a fool of himself crying to the ref but it didn't shock me he did tho. I can't ever recall seeing a player go to the ref to make a complaint like he did.



He was more focused on watching himself on the big screen all night.

I thought the "on report" function was for things the ref wasnt sure of, or things brought to his attention by the linesmen, that he didnt see. Not as a vehicle for telling tales

If Lima is found innocent then imo Wilkin should be punished heavily!



No place in our game for moaning about fellow players on the pitch. If you have a problem then you should sort it out there and then with some biff not by crying to the ref.



What’s next if we go down this road? Are we going to see Wilkin holding up imaginary cards like they do in football trying to influence the ref to send players off?



If Lima is found guilty of a chicken wing then he needs to be banned but the way Wilkin has gone about it is wrong. He knew the ref hadn’t seen it and that it would go on report so why not mention it quietly after the game?

Wilkin wouldn't make the allegation if he didn't feel he did it. Lima got away with a very serious chicken wing early in the game as well.

Wilkin was like a school boy telling his teacher tales!

I think if Wilkin had his time again he wouldn't complain about it, from what I saw of it he couldn't see what Lima was doing anyway. There's a bit of pressure on his arm but it's never a chicken wing in a million years, there was one earlier in the game from Lima though.

He would do it again. He did it the other as well.

If the ref didn't see it then it needs to be cited after the game and Lima should get banned as it’s a cheap tactic.



BUT i’ll say it again that we don’t want to go down the route with players trying to get others sent off. We will start to see players flashing imaginary cards around and it’s the start of all that BS we see every week in football.



That goes for incidents for every club including Wigan as we just don’t want to see it.
