Well in my OPINION i believe Herbert would be quite a useful 13, i wouldnt say Addy is much smaller or has more strength but he seemed to manage in that role earlier in the season - then pushing kearney up to 6 and having Royston back would give us a bit more creativity around the park

Seriously, i don't see him as a 13, average Stand Off yes.

Attacking wise Briggs has shown some nice touches. But his defence has left a lot to be desired. Don't think us fans appreciate the step up from part-time Championship to SL.



I think it's a superb move has palying in the u20's for 3 weeks, then SL one week wouldn't have helped him develop IMO. At Quins he will hopefully get up to speed and improve as a player. Hopefully put on a bit of timber. I'd like to see him next year for us after he's got his first SL season under his belt

Herbert is taller than Sinfield and less that 10kg lighter than Sinfield. Really not built for loose forward I see.

As I have said before, Royston is doing just fine.



(and before the usual suspects come on here banging on about HB being a harder position to play in, why then is Briggs somehow free of criticism yet it is open season on Herbert who, of a similar age, has travelled half-way round the world to play for us? He does not appear to be getting any time to adapt.)

I believe Briggs was seen as a future prospect and we got him this season to stop another SL club doing the same, hence why he was given a longer deal !!



As for Herbert he still has the rest of the season to shine which i believe he will, i think he has the quality to make it in SL and for the Bulls, but with a few games under his belt and a gelled HB combination it will be a good end to the season as long as the pack can continue to work hard.

I'v put my mortgage on him scoring a hat-trick for quins next game.
