Wrong. Herbert at half back as an attacking option isn't as good as Kyle perhaps. Herbert in defence however beats Kyle into the ground. Royston at 1, Kearney at 6, BJ at 7 and Herbert at 13 using Langers as a 2nd rower or prop as that is essentially the role he plays whilst playing loose.
On an aside - the constant slagging off that Marc Herbert gets from certain posters on this forum is utterly ridiculous. I can't say he has had one BAD game for us. He hasn't been completely effective in a fair few but he doesn't miss tackles and, in a team with an (at times) incredibly leaky defence, that is a big thing. Playing him in the halves is blatantly not working and I wish Potter would at least try something different but as it stands Kyle Briggs isn't the answer.
A loan spell at Quins will work wonders for him (hopefully).
