Ever since I saw the film Ghost I have been in love with the mechanical magic of the potters wheel.



However, my attempts to make an ashtray to impress my friends with have fallen well below the desired level and have actually appeared pornographic once glazed and fired.



Can anyone recommend any night school classes or private tuition?

Whaen artex was the rage in the early 80's I helped a mate who was artexing my folks house. There is nothing I have come across that is as sensual as a bucket of warm artex. Clay might be if it was warmed up, but it's normally just cold, sticky muck. It has stayed in fashion a bit longer granted.
