Days like yesterday are great. Just as thrilling as anything i've seen after watching Fax for 30 years. The rest of the experience isn't so great. You get used to the drop in the quality of the game - just enough to continue going to watch a team that you love anyway. It's the stagnant nature of the regular season that's hard to swallow. It's like being sat on a heavy sledge on a snowy hill - you keep trying to get momentum by pushing off with your feet but nothing happens - then you watch everyone else on their light-weight Super League sleds - bombing past like Chevy Chase in National lampoons Christmas vacation. |

I also have to admit that i had some great craic whilst visiting Whitehaven, Barrow, Batley, Rochdale, Oldham, doncaster, halifax, hunslet, york......even(dare i say) fev....i dont know wether i would exchange it for sooper dooper league but i had some good times nonetheless |
