He wans't the only player not to bother turning up tonight, but i was outraged by Thurstons try. Briscoe ran out grabbed the man, OZ off-loaded and our defensive line was like a dogs leg because our CAPTAIN, who had just gone on, was having a breather 20m behind everyone, even though he had just got on. To be honest i was quite disgusted.



Please please please Peacock, you have to retire. You can't cut it anymore. Time to give give the younger players ago.

Hopefully Peacock and Morley retire now, with a view to 2013.

There were plenty of poor performances out there not just from the old guard. Agree not peacocks best moment, but not on his own. I assume the retire now is directed at international game?

Yes the retirement was for international at RL. No Peacock wasn't on his own, Tomkins was poor, Yeaman & Briscoe might as well not turned up. But last i heard, Peacock was still wanting the 2013 WC, if he's this bad now, how nad is he going to be in two years time.



It just really annoyed me that our captain was having a breather 10m behind the defensive line, which cause a gap indefence which cost a try, never midn the fact he had just gone on.



But overall England were very very poor

Reed Graham Roby and Ellis were consitent and good in an overall poor team effort what makes me laugh every piggin year we get fleeced its either"we need to keep it goin a full 80" "well we were with em until bla bla bulls*** the closest we come in recent times was world cup final in 92? when renouf stole it for them right at the death.

you got that right mate.where the hell is danny brough? the best english 7 and the best english kicking game in the business. sinfields kicking game was absolute garbage.as for peacock very poor. can't keep flogging a dead horse. thought carvell had a half decent game.

I disagree with a lot of those, JJB had a good game, Yeaman struggled but had good moments. Sinfield is better at 13, who exactly do you think can come in to replace the likes of Morley and Peacock? There are a handful of good English props out there who are at International level - McCarthy Scarsbrook, Crabtree, Griffin etc, but they don't have the inspiration that the likes of Peacock and Morley have on the side.

Anyone who is English and under the age of 23 is deemed as a potential future star according to most posters.
