Well my day at the etihad was totally spoilt in the second half of simply because of mindless idiots who had far too much to drink. Causing trouble, throwing pints, confronting opposite fans aggresively, vomiting. A shame. Good rugby, good weather, bad ending.

Then surely you could have moved seats if they were unreserved?

I did, twice. But not really the issue, is it?

considering its a festival of rugby league which attracts thousands of people out for a good time and invariably involving alochol, what did you expect? a snooker crowd?



no need for agressiveness or nastiness i agree but when you get lots of people on the booze all day and in the sunshine then you should have expected some silliness.

as has been said above, unreserved seats you can sit anywhere, if the people around you are annoying you, move somewhere else.

First time in the more "atmospheric" unreserved section at the Magic yesterday. Definitely be my last. By the time the Leeds Wigan game kicked off it was chaos in the Leeds end. At least 5 people kicked out in the first 20 minutes, very aggressive arguments, beer being thrown at all and sundry, people falling over seats, and the vast majority of people too drunk or too interested in the commotion to pay attention to the game. The stewards definitely had their work cut out for them!



Walking underneath the concourse towards the end was like something out of a post apocalyptic zombie film, where the zombies are heavily inebriated men and women trying in vain to stumble their way back to their seats without spilling their 8 pints.



Maybe unreserved seating is great if you want an all day booze up. If you want to actually watch the rugby then avoid it.

All the HKR fans singing was unreal

I thought the day yesterday was fantastic (and I am a hull fc supporter so it defiantly wasn't the result that I enjoyed). Atmosphere all day was spot on Widnes supporters sang there hearts out all day, I was in the Leeds end for the last game and at half timeit was like a rock concent. Yes by that point it had been a long day and lot of alcoholic beverages had been drunk and a few people let them self,club and city/town down.



If this type of atmosphere is to roudy for you then get a reserved seat form your club in the 2nd teir.

1st time at Etihad and it's a bloody weird way of sitting for unreserved but we got in for the 1st match at the FC end thourhly enjoyed it...apart from result.Sure there was some knob fans about,1 FC fan near us was like bambi on ice e was that drunk but no bother.Only bother we had was when Wigan fans came in and 1 lad,painted red decided to give a few v signs at half time and was stood goading us.....just told him to sod off and grow up.

If you were unhappy about unreasonable behaviour from other supporters, why didn't you report them to a steward? There were plenty of them about in the stadium.
