 Can Wakefield Trinity Avoid RelegationThere is still a long way to go in Super League 2023 with most teams still having nine games to play while Huddersfield Giants still have eleven matches left including this evening’s visit to play the Catalans Dragons in the south of France. But last nights golden point drop goal from Will Dagger threw a massive lifeline to Wakefield Trinity as they recorded their third win of the season, and their third win in their last four games as they show a massive turnaround in fortune. They can. If Saints beat Cas and accidentally lose to Wakefield, things could look very different to how they do now. Of course, Cas are perfectly capable of beating a Saints team ravaged by injury and RFL oppression too.

I think that was one of the worst Cas performances I have ever seen. How that squad has deteriorated is staggering. I can't see how they would win a game in the Championship, never mind SL. There's only a couple of players in the team vs Wire that I would keep. Wakey only need one win as that would probably bolster their score difference better than Cas.
