If I'm picky, which I am, I'd say the 'S' is not an accurate reproduction.

Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate the badge needs some modifying, but the one shown is only a sample. The badge, as far as we are aware, should be more square so that the letter resembles more the number5. Correct us if we are wrong. And also if anyone has an image of the green one, we will stick it on the vote page and see if it gets any votes.

Well how many of these shirts do you expect we will sell? If we thought we could shift say 100 shirts, we would definitely make a contribution in the form of sponsorship. However, bearing in mind the interest shown in this thread, it would appear that there is not much interest at all.

Strange that. Can't imagine why people aren't interested in parting with 30-odd quid to wait a month for a retro shirt that doesn't look like the original, especially when none of their hard-earned is going towards our club, as you proudly advertise your support for Hull KR?!

Well perhaps if your club had responded to our numerous emails and letters as HKR did , we may have been able to show some support for them too. With regards not looking like the original, we have asked supporters to give us their comments, the badge can be tweaked, we appreciate that. And you are the first person to mention the waiting time being an issue, strange that

Don't think you are being singled out, the club has a policy of not responding to emails or letters in case they get their fingers burnt or the reply is taken the wrong way. Waiting time can be an issue, we have had massive problems with club shirts in the past, with a new shirt due out in November not arriving until the following February but you were not to know that.



Just had a look and your sizes are too small 4XL upto 50inch should be 56 inch at least and the rest likewise 3XL upto 54inch, just an observation.

Firstly "RLGEAR" is right the initial shirt is not quite as we requested and will be reworked to give a more accurate representation of the shirt (though there does appear to be 2 or 3 different versions of the "S"icon_wink.gif



Secondly regarding licensing and contributions going to the respective clubs. In this instance the S was never a licenced mark of the club (as far as we are aware), but is of course related to the club. As stated we have tried on several occasions, emailed and snail mail, to contact the chief exec to discuss our plans and ways we may be able to contribute to the youth set up, foundation trust or similar, basically somethng that will be of benefit to the long term of each and every club Relix has an association with. Currently we have had no response but this does not mean we have given up trying.



As for the waiting time for shirts to arrive, it is the first time that anyone has questioned this. Of course like all things of this nature we are led by our suppliers and the timescale involved is indicative of those quoted by suppliers.



Indeed Mr Limb, it is completely the individuals choice whether or not to make a purchase. Though could I please ask what in particular (apart from the S) "doesn't look like the original"?



If we could come to an agreement with the club and then sell the volume required to cover costs and indeed make a profit we would be only too willing to make a contribution either in the form of advertising, foundation trust or to a suitable youth project.



Finally as for the sizes we use the L, XL etc as guides but have also added the sizes in inches as well because some products are a little on the small side but are already marked up with L,XL etc. (if that makes sense)

We can have larger sizes made to order if required (and you are able to wait the extended lead time!!)

The red 'S' shirt of the 70's had red cuffs not white. To my knowledge there was two away shirt versions. Dark green with a white 'S' and a white jersey with a red 'S'. There was also a special red shirt with a white badge featuring a devil for the 1976 Premiership Final against St Helens.
