In all fairness Dubai was mentioned last night. I was told John Bateman from Bradford was the name of the backrower we were talking to, not sure if this is the same player the MEN are linking us with as I wouldnt describe Bateman as a "top backrower" just yet.

Bateman signed for Wigan three weeks ago.

I'll be amazed if it is Harrison Hansen. It was no secret we were talking to him at the end of the season, but it seemed he was adament to see 2014 out with Wigan because it was his testomonial season. Something must have radically changed between then and now if that is the case.

Koukash mentioned he was still keen on aquiring Hansen at Walkden last week , especially with his Folly Lane links . I'd presumed it was for a 2015 deal , as Wigan had taken up his final year option and he was eligble

It was Crowe who approached Dr Koukash.( An image from possibly a newspaper or rugby league publication which I cannot be bothered to find,was put online a few days ago)

It was Russell Crowe who organized the games in the USA some years ago with Salford appearing in the second;not without controversy as it turned out.
