Now i'm not on about players who dish it out, i'm on about players that could/can take an absolute pounding and always come back for more, i know people will say anyone who goes out there is a tough player but i mean the real hard cases that just get up and shrug things off, players like Morley, Monaghan and Peacock?

Scully.

Scully was an animal, almost every clip on youtube is him battling with someone, nucking futcase that lad.

Sparred with Ricky Hatton when Ricky was in his prime, says it all really.

For his size alone and i seen him get Levelled quite a few times Mark Gleesson gets my vote!

Danny Farrah. As tough as they come

Out of all time hard men....Dean Bell. He was like Terminator.



Also Glenn Lazarus 'the brick with eyes'. One of my favourite all time clips was some Aussie forward giving Lazarus a brutal facial, slamming his forehead into the ground at the play the ball, Lazarus just played the ball and got up, didn't even bat an eyelid towards the perpetrator, it was as though he hadn't even noticed, his head just bounced off the ground.



Ellery Hanley, Andy Farrell and Shane Webcke also deserve mentions as does Greg Mackey, the fact he played for so long without missing games, and was only a halfback, says something about his durability.



But I think all players who play pro RL must have something about them for toughness look at Sam Tomkins, gets knocked out by Raynor and comes back in class form a week later.

Absolutely anyone who walks onto a rugby league pitch is a tough player in my book - no hiding place
