I have heard this before however why would we sell our best playeR? If we want to win trophies we need the best available.

As said last week the club only want 100% committed players...

I've heard this a lot, but ignored it due to it's content. The bit I can't understand is the bit where it's claimed he's a devout Pie and would sell his soul for a move there. That he loves Wigan with all his heart and can't face not playing for them any longer, so much so that he's taken to socialising with them. I just can't get my head around it, why would anyone think in such a way?

Hasnt he recently signed a new contract?

Firstly, do Wigan need him?



Secondly, if he's going to go we'll command a decent fee for him and Wigan will need to pay him well.

Ratchford is 100% not going. For one he can't stand the club after being messed about by them before coming through the Salford academy. Secondly they have no need for him? Why would Tomkins play in the Halves when they currently have an Enland International there and possibly the best upcoming English 6 in the game?
