I like it. Like you, I think there's a need to move away from the flute song and create a club anthem.

Fairly sure that could be arranged....

I don,t dislike anyone that much Maurice mind you I,m not that brave but this suggestion might do a lot worse than bite you on the bum.

I seem to recall a similar version being sung a few years ago (Batley away when we won the league rings a bell?), though I thought it was "where we once watched a young Woody play" and "we had Dessie on the wing".

Mixed opinions,



but the key is to move away from our scouser friends and make it our anthem!! I will leave Matt and the gang to the tunes but worth considering.



Id rather sing nothing than a sectarian song that continually gets us bad publicity and the RFL will hardly need any excuses to keep us out!
