I know Riddy got it on Sky, but for me Goulden was outstanding today - wonder how far he would have got in the game if he had turned pro earlier

I think it was another great team performance. Have to admit that Goulden had a good game and is is uber-reliable - like a local Adam Bristow - never has a bad game.

They all did well but Ellis for me.

Shows the nature of the game these days, we play with 2 stand offs and no SH. Ellis always seems to be involved, and I can see him stepping up to SL next season, his kicking game looks class.

There were a few doubts earlier in the season about Ellis' kicking game but it's really come in to it's own in recent weeks. Once again hard to pick a stand out player from another consistent performance but I think Riddy certainly showed his class at times.

Good team effort from the lobby, they should be your mom.

The differnce from a scrum half to a stand off being? and how does one differentiate? bear in mind the date is 2011 not 1911.

Or if we`d have signed him straight from LMR as the BARLA GB Capt but let Rochdale sign him..........Who was i/c at Leyth at the time?

I asked if Turk had seen Tommy round about 2001/02 as he was becoming a regular and I likened the way he played to Dave Bradbury. Sadly for one reason or another it never happened and I asked again in 2003 (when we had Phil Veivers briefly at the club and then John Pendlebury) but I have always been a big fan and knew he'd make a cracking pro player if given the chance.
