Anyone else heard this is in fact the guy who has been offered the job, recived a text today naming him and not seen him mentioned anywhere !!! He has been very succsesful over in the NZ comp over the past two seasons winning it in 2010 with a team then takeing auckland vulcans to the runners up spot last season.

I thought he had decided to reform Rainbow and tour

not sure if hiring a coach from the NZ domestic comp is such a good idea.

The last one we had was well liked, rubbish at coaching but well liked

I liked him but his rugby wasn't the most entertaining if i remember rightly,although he did win us a trophy.

Don't forget that Blackmore had a very respectable playing career which should stand him in good stead as a coach (and smooth any visa complications).
