| I thought that was easily our most professional performance of the season.
The penalty count seemed much improved and the defence was top notch. Our attack was as slick as could be and genuinely fantastic to watch at times.
Ridyard and Reynolds were in complete control in the halves and Cory Paterson is clearly a 3rd pivot and completely ran the show today from 13.
Our pack battered 'Haven from pillar to post as we have come to expect from this set of forwards but more impressive was our outside backs who IMO had their best games so far. Worthington and Armstrong were really involved throughout. Kay shone in attack and Higson in defence.
Big credit to the coach today. After 30 mins when we clearly had the game in the bag I thought Jukes made the right decision in taking Higham off and leaving him off for the rest of the game. We have been a shadow of the team we can be when Mickey is off the field but today we let Hood play long minutes and he rewarded us with his best game for the club so far. If we'd kept Higham on we could have hit 80 today, we are twice the team with him on the field.
Very happy tonight. Defence was fantastic, discipline was much improved, attack was great and very entertaining.
Paterson, Riddy and Reynolds ran the attack like a well oiled machine.
Really encouraging to see the improvement in the side week by week.
Next stop France, up the Leythers!!

| Can`t disagree too much with that summary.Although I think Tom Armstrong has too many brain farts whilst in possession and Liam Kay looks to have lost a yard of pace, maybe still carrying a knock.

| Yep, can't disagree with that. Really impressed with the side, but what was going on for the first 15-20 minutes? How Haven didn't score when they went through in the opening few minutes, I'll never know. It was outstanding positional play from Lee Smith, or a complete mess from Haven - they had a 3 man overlap!
Again, we could have scored 100 today! Really pleased with that performance and the discipline was miles, miles, miles better. Interesting isn't it - get the discipline spot on, complete your sets, win easily.
Thought Jamie Acton and Patterson were outstanding today, particularly Jamie - what a player! He never took a backwards step. Interesting to see where Chase fits into all of this now. Reynolds and Riddy looked solid today and bossed it. Our kicking game needs to improve again though. Oh and great to see Mickey get a well earned rest.

| Personally I thought EVERY player did his bit for the team today, but Haven won't win any games playing like that, still a good result and a nice win for Swinton.

| Very pleasing game. Think our backs are starting to get some consistency now and put in a very good performance today, we looked a lot more comfortable passing the ball about and more creative today than we have been. Patterson was fantastic & well deserved his MOM, just seemed to walk through defences. Reynolds was also fantastic, very creative and always there ready, involved in almost everything we do. Taking all emotion out of it & going off just the small bits we've seen of Ryan before he left & Ben since he's come back I'd say Reynolds is a much better player this season. Think we're improving all the time & now we're getting some consistency in our backs that'll hopefully get more and more improvement every week.

| An excellent all-round display. Sure, there were one or two howlers when we attacked in the second half, but it would be very churlish to criticise after a performance like that. I thought Reynolds was very good, and was looking to be in the action all the time. His try was one of the cheekiest I've seen for a long time! Once again, I thought Acton was awesome - he really is an outstanding player, when he keeps his discipline. I noticed one of their guys have a dig at him, and he just walked away - nice one Jamie! Patterson is also some player.
All in all, a performance much like we were used to in last season's Championship, with the added bonus of a brutal performance from the forwards.

I am not 100% sure if Ben Reynolds is a better player than Ryan Brierley at this moment.
What I would say without a shadow of a doubt is that Riddy and Reynolds make a much better halves partnership than Riddy and Ryan did.
Ridyard has come alive since having a partner who can actually challenge the line and contribute to the direction of the attack and the kicking game.
Say it quietly so we don't offend his fan club but I genuinely think Brierley leaving is looking like a blessing in disguise.
Ben Reynolds is $hit hot and I am delighted to see him ripping it up since his return to the team. He looks like the real deal to me.

He gets more involved for my money Nozzy. Granted, Ryan would probably have scored direct from that kick by Ridyard, but Reynolds still got the reward for sheer persistence!

| Riddy had a good game today, but he should take the defence on more often as he is a threat every time he gets the ball, some home fans gave Tom Armstrong a bit of stick today , but I thought he played very well, as did Liam Kay, hopefully they will be soon back to their best, and terrorising the opposition defence.

| Where o where are all the fax and fev trolls today?? Assume they are busy scouring the HMRC and companies house website looking for info to fabricate a new rumour...
Still waiting for all of the so called inside information that they had from last year to come to light...

| The most improved player this year has been Jamie Acton when selected, he makes good yards, his defence is brilliant and discipline is in the main very good, get the lad signed up for a few years and watch him get better and better, after all he is only twenty four and on this form I'd rather see him play for us than against us KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JAMIE ACTON.
