Oh dear. HKR were nothing special and were there for the taking. I could accept losing to a better team, but we looked like we were in second gear. That is not meant to be disrespectful to HKR, but they didn't look like they were playing with any confidence. We didn't respect them as an opponent and looked like we thought we could win it at any time. We need to beat both Widnes and Catalans now to avoid the MPG

I would say,

nothing special performance when one was needed, against a very disciplined and hard working HKR team.

We seemed well below par with Higham off the field. I think we need to risk him longer in the first and bring him back earlier in the second in future in close games. Big ask I know but needed I believe.

Drinkwater has 2 passes short one from which we scored and the long one ellis intercepted and dropped.He never attacks the line or takes players on so hes easily marked out of the game.He disappears for long periods of the game,but that's more than Stewart does.Id like to know who signed some of the players we have.
