Fev is a must win game

Never understood this MUST win view, for me every game is a MUST win ,they are all vital to our Top 4 hopes,it's very simple really, we win every game and the Top 4 place is nailed on ,a Bonus win on Friday and the feel good feeling gets stronger,as Mama Cas used to say, It's Getting Better.

You've got no problem to worry about Leigh by 12-16 when you get to our place on Saturday 19th May, but I did tell Charlie that in the George before our game at the LSV.







You really should as a team be looking at the game in Blackpool.

Dave my friend, hope you are well?You know I never listen to your views on how poor Fev are playing, it's water off a ducks back, I never underestimate Fev, especially with Riddy and Hock in yer team.



Anyway we will be in the Fev Hotel early next week, hope to see both you and John, and to make plans to meet up the week after in Blackpool,it will be strange wanting Fev to lose ,2 weeks on the trot, I'm hoping for a repeat of the Fax V Fev game a couple of years ago at Blackpool, that was a very subdued atmosphere sat amongst the Fev fans.



Anyway, I hope you beat Hull tomorrow night, can't see it , but you never know, see you next week.

I'm fairly sure that I said in another thread earlier in the saeson that I'd written off the Blackpool game given that Fev have never won at Bloomfield Road.



I did say before our game at LSV that I thought Leigh had the best team in this division and thought that they would still make the top 4, in the main I still feel that is true, though the Toronto team is better now than it was then. I expect the top 4 to be Toronto, Toulose, Fev and Leigh. If the finishing places are in that order that will mean that Leigh are at home to Toronto in the middle 8s and though Leigh would only get 3 home games i don't think it would be a bad outcome for your lads. In fact if you want 3rd (or even 2nd) above Fev 4th I'd take that since I'd rather give up the league place for a home game v Toronto for a trip to the LSV.

PS Thanks for the good wishes v Hull tonight but can't see anything but a Hull win by 24-30 points.

Theres no advantage with 4 games at home in the middle 8's. Its all down to the fixtures. A Championship club could end up with the first 3 games at home against SL teams. Bang goes the advantage.

I quite agree how the fixtures fall is much more important that having 3 or 4 home games, just have to be in it to have a chance of winning the ultimate prize, a place in SL.
