This is going to be a long season. Small squad and injuries every week. Second week we have had injuries in the warm up!

I’m stunned at how poor we were in the second half. At halftime I said all we needed to do was play simple and stay as mistake free as possible to win the game. We can point fingers at single players but in the end the whole team made mistake after mistake, and then dropped defensive line speed and started to drop off tackles. We lack a “captain” in the halves but the whole team just failed in the second.

I’m a glass half full guy but I’m looking at a shot glass not a pint right now.

The 2017 side would take the this team apart.

I’m embarrassed to be a Leigh fan after that performance, so slow, unfit, and what’s more worrying unable.



Paul Sculthorpe said it’s skill level, I agree it is, and desire, unfortunately it now reflects embarrassingly on Derek.
