Players come and go and often we do not get a chance to say godbye properly.



Sometimes players leaving are all lumped together but IMHO Andy raleigh deserves more than that and i believe should have a thread of his own.



Andy is a Huddersfield lad who has always given everything for the Giants.



I have watched him for years but my abiding memories are after the loss at St helens in the cup we were at risk of being relegated. Andy, Eorl and Drew were the players who gave 110% to ensure that this did not happen.



Andy raleigh gave everything for this club on and off the field EG the Laura Crane trust.



I wish him the best as he comes towards the latter stages of his career . He may have gone to Wakey but he will always be a Giant.

I'm gutted - and more than a little disappointed in the way that Andy has been treated.



I wish him all the best and hope that his Mum & Dad remain supporters of the Giants and rejoin the Supporters Association.

I think he was a credit to the club and Wakefield are lucky to have him. What's happened to him was bad.

A solid dependable player who always gave his all and a lovely bloke. Always a shame when local lads move on- all the best to andy.

Very sorry to see him go....he was great for us both on and off the field. He will be sorely missed. Obviously his face didn't fit & he was treated badly imo.

Just seen announcement on twitter. Gutted he is moving just don't know why on earth he was moved from 2nd row to prop. I also think he has been treated poorly by Nathan Brown by excluding him from 1st team when others did not deserve to be in.



I wish you all the best Andy and thank you for the fond memories at Huddersfield. It hurts me to say it but I cannot believe I will be clapping a Wakefield player.

IIRC Raleigh got top tackler, Squadbuilder Player of the Year, Player's Player of the Year and Supporters Player of the Year in 2008. He's a Huddersfield lad and has always given 100%



He deserves to play every week, he needs to play every week and it will bring the best out of him. I just hope the flat earthers give him a chance rather than dump on him because he's Huddersfield. He will do really well there IMO and will prove to be a great signing.



Kirmond will also go well I think and these two seriously beef up Wakey's pack.
