Still no word.

Tickets are usually announced in August, gives people time to budget in time for the cheap ticket deadline in November or take advantage of the monthly payment plan early.

Ok we didn't know where we would be playing in 2017 until two weeks ago-Leeds didn't in July but had the confidence to announce their tickets then! The club should have had a plan A and plan B ready to go. Those tickets should have been announced as soon as our future was known.

Hull KRs tickets have gone on sale- price £225, just £10 less than ours this year. They offered a voluntary 25% discount on season ticket sales - 700 people bought on the first day of sale- that's probably about a quarter of what we will sell if we are lucky. 95% of those that have bought KRs tickets paid full price and didn't take advantage of the discount!!! Couldn't see that happening with hudds supporters!

Poor management from our club.

Agree, i've had people ask me when they are on sale and how much, maybe they are working on a deal to bring more people through? who knows?

I suppose we could Email and ask them likely dates? but yes it's a poor do, not having any details as yet.

I was told there were 2 potential deals that were very good ...was told next 2 weeks so that will take us to next week.

KR have had a lot more to deal with and less time but have still managed to get their house in order. should have had them ready to go when the feel good factor was high after the win- common sense!!!

Shocking from us IMO- yet they moan people aren't interested- well no because the point of interest has been and gone Giants!!!!

bit slow off the mark i agree but maybe as it stands no signings to try and get a few more fans on board, if they announce a few good signings few days before then that might spark abit more interest too



salford were quick of the mark, maybe we should have done same straight after while there was at least some good feel factor about the club but we know our marketing team aint the best!

I agree Brearley, I wouldn't launch my tickets on the back of the worst season for a lot of years, I would try to make things a bit more appealing, It could be a sign that there are some decent player on the way, I wont be buying one until i see what sort of squad we have, If i don't get a season ticket i will pick my games.

I will get a season ticket irrelevant of who we sign because I am a Giants fan and always will be.

You're not getting a season ticket until you see who we sign, I despair.

And MH get your hand in your pocket this year and get a season ticket bought, you can't take it with you.

And they wonder why we don't have the money to sign these better players !!

It's all our fault they haven't announced them yet. We don't have enough fans to pay for the backroom staff to make a decision on season tickets. Betty the tea lady will be sorting it but she's still busy cleaning all the kits first.



Rick Stone was in the examiner this week saying he hopes we take a leaf out of Towns book. Understands the difference the atmosphere can make to a teams success, and the fact that it's in the giants hands to make something happen with crowds. Hope there is some action.

and yet, paradoxically, we have the money to offer the players we already have new contracts. Even players who leave appear to be offered new contracts ie Lunt, Kopczak. I fail to see anyone saying we should sign expensive players, merely better ones.

But yet we clearly aren't paying them what they think is enough -because those players have gone elsewhere for more money....
