Maaaan, really wish I had a season ticket

Haven't these tickets been given free to season ticket holders?

So if 2500 tickets are free where's the money coming from to run the game or this round of the Cup?

Sheffield will be lucky to cover their costs.

They have. Sheffield did a big complaint about it.



But is 3,000 away fans coming from free buying pints, food and whatever etc better than 1,000 or less turning up and paying £15ish quid to get in? Remember the admission fee would be shared with the other club anyway. They don't have to share the takings from the bars. We would take anywhere near 3,000 paying full admission so surely it offsets some of the loss?



Does my argument make any sense?

Surely there will be quite a few Wigan fans (like myself and hubbie) who live too far from lovely lovely Wigan to commit to buying a season ticket so will pay on the gate. Mustn't grumble though as we live only 25 miles from Sheffield so we would class this as a 'home' fixture

Only the bars etc will be owned/franchised out by Sheffield United so the Eagles will make the sum total of bugger all from the bars.

We are a family of season ticket holders but due to unforseen circumstances last minute two of our party unable to attend the Sheffield game, therefore got 2 spare tickets if anyone interested let me know. One was for adult and one for child season ticket but on Sheffield tickets it does not state adult, child etc so should be able to use for either or.



Just let me know if interested as would rather they go to a good home
