Cant for the life of me understand how they are well supported - Scottish football is gash (see the Lichtenstein match the other night for evidence), United will put six past them.

Because when it comes to the CL, both Rangers and Celtic in the past take big followings away to other gorunds than most other clubs despite the league being very poor. Why are they being held at the DW Stadium though exactly? Is it a place for them to drink before hand etc...? Not heard anything about it really.

Celtic and Rangers aren't just about football.

Funny how DW had all those rows with GMP about not paying them for policing the stadium and they end up bringing 10,000 + Rangers fans to Wigan under their supervision because last time they were in Manchester they trashed the place.

They get a comfort break in the stadium for a few hours before being handed out their official tickets and then board the buses to OT. Think its a way of ensuring the only fans to enter Manchester from Glasgow on this day is via this route only. (And Whelan making a few quid out of it).

somat to do with all the that went on in manc city last year or year before when they WRECKED IT thousands turned up without tickets and made a mess of the city !

So SSN says 125k supporters turned up in manc last year and ripped the place up! 3.5k OFFICIAL fans are coming down on coaches "AND WILL ONLY GET THEIR TICKETS ON THE JOURNEY TO OT" whats to stop more Rangers fans turning up on their own via train or car or coach with out any tickets (and turning up in Wigan to be with their mates before going to Manchester without tickets and ripping our place up)??

I remember when they were in manchester last year. I was in Salford having an exam and I could hear them as my exam room was near the train station. Then a bus load got off at the front of the uni and came inside looking for toilets. bedlam!



although, to be fair, manchester invited them with open arms, promised they'd be able to watch the game on a big screen, then didnt put it on.

pfft im working at the cinema near the stadium, think ill leave my car at home that night and barrier myself in a screen til they go!
