It was a young teenage Wigan fan I believe. It was dealt with just before half time by the stewards.

Apologies, I saw the person in the North stand aiming it at Wigan players and assumed. If so I assume Wigan fan is hardly the correct term though.

I thought a saw a laser when Pat took a kick on the right wing in the first half.



If that was a Wigan fan he needs to be banned. Why would a Wigan fan do that when Pat is lining up a kick?

I've been told someone was selling laser pens outside the ground before the game (as you do).

It was way too powerful to just be a cheap laser pen. Clear green light from over 100m away? Whoever did that was a tool too though.

Whoever did that laser pen stuff wasn't a fan of either team. S/he was a numpty.

The lad thrown out was in the South Stand (wearing a baseball cap and last years away top) and was the cause of the two incidents when Sam was attempting to re-gather the ball in the South-East corner.



If you saw someone in the North Stand doing the same it would corroborate the theory of someone selling them outside.

I saw it shining on the grass in the SE corner when we were defending down there early on, looked from the angle as if it was from the West side of the North stand, which was the bit for Wigan fans.

It came from the south stand.... Cheap laser pen, but still a stupid thing to do.



You could not afford a laser capable of being used in the north stand and showing up so well 10 metres out from the south stand.

I saw some kind of green light near the top of the west stand in the northern corner, not sure what it was.

He was in the south stand, young teenage lad, they took it off him looked like they were going to throw him out then they let him back in and he went back to his seat.
