If fit I’d play, but spell TL & SOL who missed last week.

I'd go something like - Escare; Manfredi, Gildart, Sarginson, Brown; Woods* (assuming Swinton are safe), Williams; Sutton, Ganson*, Navarrete; Farrell, Greenwood, Hamlin. Subs: Shorrocks, Tautai, Paisley, Partington.



Davies and Bateman have done so much hard work this year that I'd give both a rest. I'd love to see Joe Brown make his debut as he's yet another fantastic wing prospect. That would probably depend on who is available for the Under 19's Grand Final though.

Isa is out for the season.

So he is! I'll chuck Greenwood back in there instead, although if we don't want to risk him then Caine Barnes could be another in with a shout.

I’d rest a few but not go overboard, we could do with keeping the momentum going and it would be nice to be the first team to win all 7 of the super 8s. Hull seem to be getting slightly better but we should have enough even resting a few.

U19's final is next Saturday v Leeds, after their 50 - 0 victory over Huddersfield today.



I'd like Wigan to play their strongest team in this game and reward those young players with the best chance of a winners medal, in what is sure to be a hard/physical game.

Yeah of course, they’ve been very good this year and have played some good rugby, maybe Jake Shorrocks will play for the first team next week though, him and Woods in halves wouldn’t be bad

Where and what time is the final?

I agree. I think it’s important to keep a winning momentum going (even though I’m sure we would beat Hull by spelling a few anyway).



Wouldn’t risk it, keep it going win all the S8 matches in go into the semi final with confidence.

Wigan have asked for the use of the DW Stadium next Saturday. Usual kick off time is 2 p.m.



If the stadium is in use then it will be played at Headingley.

Latics are away so fingers crossed. It would be a real shame if we can’t get the home advantage we’ve earned.

Hopefully, Partington, Brown and Barnes will play in the U19s final along with Worthington and Kibula.

It’s a fine balancing act between giving first team opportunities or letting lads play in the 19’s final at the weekend. I guess any of the 19’s lads would love a first team debut but there’s going to be that sadness come that 19’s final if they’re not involved.

Partington has picked up a 1 match ban from the disciplinary. Does the U19s final count, as if so he could be banned for that but play for the first team on the same day.
