Unfortunately we have signed Gale in the twilight of his career. That said, Lino needed to stand up more this year for sure, he has been an attacking spectator. He’s had numerous spine partners, but is it a coincidence the majority of our wins have come when he didn’t play? He’s in the peak of his career, Gale was playing in a GF and WC final at his age, least he’s been there and done it.

Smiths a handy player with some potential. Whether he’ll realise that remains to be seen but he’ll be a decent enough back up option for Hull.

For a player that’s hovered between disappointing and ineffective (when he’s pulled on the trinity shirt) I can’t say I’m heartbroken by this.

Joined a low quality, poorly coached team and didn't stand out.Think he had one promising game,but if we've new money to spend would hope to find better.Good look to the lad.

Dywer is terrible, ask any fan of a team, that he has played for, those who have had the misfortune to watch his full games, other fans mainly see highlights and he odd good run, but they don't see the rest of his game, the fact his passing is awful, often makes the wrong decision and cannot defend.



Smith will be a backup playing 7 and 9, it's a gamble., but Tony Smith has a good habit of improving players and he has coached him before at Warrington.



He is more a replacement from Ben McNamara, who is no way near SL standard.

Looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights most times he took the field.



Good luck to the lad and could have done a job in the Championship but at the end of the day he won’t be missed at Trinity.



Strange signing by us and expecting him to step up and boss the team was very optimistic.

Exactly! Think this was a money ball type signing that just didn’t work out for us at all. Lads obviously got something otherwise Hull FC wouldn’t be signing him, but at 26 he should of been hitting his straps.
