i too am annoyed as the poster as brought kettlethorpe into disrepute.

To be fair, the rumours were in the press, so it wasn't the usual forum nonsense, and they were in the press before it generated fifteen pages on here. People who post on here confirmed it to me privately, and they know people closer to the club than I did, and TRB made the enquiry of the directors before it went on here, and so posters shouldn't be blamed.



One way to unsettle a player is to put out a rumour that someone else wants him, and maybe the someone else ends up getting him, because the hat has been unofficially thrown into the ring. How did Solo end up going without an official approach before the end of the season?

The problem I had with it was the speed at which posters were ready to turn on the Club despite it being nothing more than a rumour and no confirmation from anyone official. Personally I think that given the huge strides we have made over the last few years and after such a good start to this season the Club and team deserve a bit better.
