I watched my recording of yesterday's match at lunchtime today. After the dirty McGoldrick put Henderson in a headlock I'm sure I heard him call Morrison a word which is spelt very similar to twit. I rewound it a few times and am thinking that is why Hemmings apologised for the "industrial language" as Silverwood's mic was muted by Sky. I also heard someone being told to f off.



Now, if it had been Child as the ref (rather than video ref) wouldn't McGoldrick have been asked to leave the pitch for bad language?



Am I being too prudish or was this just too far out of order?



(I know it is a "man's" game but I found this unacceptable.)

the tackle was nicely removed from the highlights at 2am last night so i missed seeing it again... they did however show rinaldi smash him 5 minutes later.... i wonder why they removed it? bad tackle? bad language? both? either way it was an awful tackle and he should have walked... along with mathers for his constant dummy spitting (possibly the most annoying waste of skin to walk mother earth).

I'd recorded the live coverage on Sky+ so saw the full deal. The tackle was definitely X rated as indeed was the follow up language.

I was bang opposite the incident and the tackle was a disgrace could have broke his neck. Silverwood well and truely bottled it. Certain sin binning or red card. Don't worry boys we will stuff those tigers next year ! And i am going to laugh through every second of us rubbing it in

Mcgoldrick was dazed by the back of his head being dropped on the ground with rinaldi on top of him with no way of mcgoldrick able to protect himself.



Both were cheap shots with each player unable to protect themselfs.

Suppose only one will get a ban.

It was Youngquest who ran in to touch, however, he couldn't really stop himself to be fair

You do Rinaldi a disservice by this comparison. Had the referee taken the action he should have with regard to the tackle on Henderson - and Cas and Wakey fans seem to share the same view on this, although I didn't see it - then there would have been no cause for retribution. Rinaldi is not a dirty player. Mcgoldrick is the architect of his own sore head. Sadly, I doubt the bump will have knocked any sense into it.
