Just now need Tim Smith signing for scrum half. It's a shame that we're possibly losing Sykes as he'd have done well at full back next year playing alongside Smith.

I think by mid season Tom Johnston will be pushing very hard for a wing spot in the 1st team which in turn could release Hall to play Stand Off or Full back with Godinet at interchange hooker

Basically I would rather have Sykes at fullback than Owen on the wing

That has made my day. I've been really impressed with Chris and glad to have him on board. I'm surprised it is only a 1 year deal. I wonder why we couldn't make it 2? Is Riley keeping his options open?

I know this wont go down well and it is only a rumour but I was told you had given Owen a 3 year deal but as I said this is only a rumour.

I hope this rumour is wrong. It seems madness to me to give Owen a 3 year deal and Riley one. Based on last Sunday alone I wouldn't offer Owen a contract at all.

We've got enough to cover his wing position next year. Would rather be hearing Tim Smith on a 3 year deal and retain Paul Sykes on a 1 year deal for the spare full back position.

If you had said 1 year or 2 even perhaps, 3 years behave yerself.
