Andrew is looking for a contract for next year after finishing his career with the sharks . Mmm wonder where he’ll end up .

He has told the Sharks he won't go round next season for them. Could be a swansong now for him and big Dave to realise the dream of playing together. What a signature this would be for the club

Listening to Dave on his wakey Heritage podcast its definitely on the cards ,it whether our club and player get get things sorted ,but it’s something they are both passionate about . Fingers crossed .

Be great for the club and for the brothers if Andrew does play a season together with Dave here

Certainly sounds like Dave and Andrew will be playing together next year - let’s hope it’s at belle vue - but as they are both ooc nothings certain. Having said that if he does sign and audits gone to kr then apart from crowther and bowes we won’t have a forward under the age of 30

If this is a goer then the deal will already have been done… Andrew was on the radar for staying at the Sharks … but his announcement suggests he already has decided his destination.



Fwiw the last few games he has really upped his minutes and effort…

That means then that most of our forwards are in their prime , sounds good to me

Listen to Dave’s podcast and make your own mind up , for me it’s definitely on them playing together and Dave stated he would love it to be here , all will be revealed in due course I’m sure , hopefully just before season tickets go on sale

Had a great game this last weekend with plenty minutes, would be nice for us and the club to see them playing together.

If it happens he will have to come fairly cheap. This was going to happen two years ago when he had three seasons left in him and would have been worth breaking the bank for.



However he’s a class player and technically I have no reservations.



What I do worry about is that individually they are strong willed, together! It’s not a deal ender but it’s something to think about.



Poching has finally got them working as a unit, and to many big personalities could scupper that. It’s not our clubs job to make Daves dreams come true, it’s the other way around so it has to be serious and purely about rugby.



Over all I’d take the gamble as it’s still a coup but it needs to be made very clear from the whole club from day one what’s expected.

Dave has been an anomaly and a larger than life personality/character from the word go , you simple cant stifle that infectious nature in a player, if it were to come off what bigger incentive to get stay away fans down to watch one of the bigger names in the world of RL turn out with his brother at Belle Vue .

I agree but it cannot become the Fifita show, it is a team and that must be the case.

I listened when It was first streamed and Dave seemed very excited about the possibility… one thing about the Fifitas is their family and community loyalty Andrew chose Tonga over the Kangaroos… because of his family heritage and Dave first came to UK to support his older brother…



It could happen (it might not) … it could be at Trinity (it might not be) …
