I know we've done this in one guise or another loads of times already, but with the pack taking shape and the back line of:

Raynor

Yeaman

Hall

Calderwood



and cover of Briscoe and potentially Turner



our biggest shortfall in cover now IMO is in the halves, where, if Horne or Long get injured we're back to square one.

Whiting possibly?

we really do need a creative stand off with a deccent kicking game imo!

Agar seems completely resistant to the possibility of playing him in that sort of role, though.

Theres also whiting to cover the centres and possibly fb. If Horne was injured I'd use washy at 6 and whiting at 13, if long was injured I'd use berro and put lee at 9, also tansey can cover 6 and 7 although I'd rather keep him at full back.

don't think we do tbh, tansey has a good kicking game, as does washy(short). Plus we will have long for territory kicking. For me Horne is brilliant if we play like we did yesterday, broken play and 2nd phase support are his niche(sp).

I'd look to the national leagues for a young kid as cover. Like we did with Brough and Quins have this season with Gale.

ideally we need a young half back for Long to tutor and help develop.
