Difficult choice. However, given the shape of our squad for the rest of the season I'd probably have to go with him playing 6 while Horne moves to FB. Unless Russell impresses and we extend his loan, in which case all bets are off.

Suppose it depends on how this Russell goes.

This is the thing, if Russell does impress we're left with Westy, Whiting & Aspinwall fighting for 13. Even maybe Pitts.

ellis is rubbish. Get rid. chase can't tackle though so ellis must be better. horne is better than both but he can't kick

So if we sign Chase, move Horne and somehow get Ellis in we'll have a halfback to partner Seymour?

4 halfbacks could be the way to go. Works at hudds for brown

Whiting won't get dropped. And not just because I love him, either. He's been playing at least as well as Aspinwall in the back row (better, IMO

) and has the added advantage of being able to slot in anywhere in the event of injuries.
