It's the first I've heard of it but it wouldn't be a bad move for Rovers. I would imagine that Michaels may set his sights a little higher though. That said, if the money is right it might be convenient for him if he isn't heading back to the NRL.

Would be a good bit of business for them, can see him fitting it wherever he goes as he can cover centre or winger and tackles well above his weight.

Further reports Rankin is being shipped out to save money. To be honest, if it was a choice, I'd keep Michaels.

Micheals would be a good signing for any SL club, although Rovers already have two quota wingers.

I like Michaels, but I wouldn't be too upset if we used the quota spot elsewhere, maybe on half back / hooker cover

I always like him for his effort and I have to be honest he has been better than I thought he was, still lacks pace and skill to be a top winger, if he was cheap and English Id have him as a squad player.



See it's sometimes easy to admit you were wrong about a player, wonder if you will ever me man enough to do the same?

Id be surprised if Sio didn't head back to Aus at the end of the season now he's got twins back home.

Agree Stan, if you had a spare quota place and a strong squad he would be a handy signing, Rovers need to use the quota spots on other key areas.

On the secret forum Andy ( Structured / Bertie / stutter bugs ...seems to be rattled by this . Can't see Michaels going to Rovers personally .
