The RFL are refusing to register the Bulldogs players as they owe some money to the Inland Revenue. Hope its not the case at any more clubs as we won't have a league next year! |

And I guess he knows this how? Trying to say we made another million loss and only brought in 500k revenue? I don't think so somehow.
I like the guy and love Batley but what the fudge have our books got to do with him?
Typical RFL btw crack down on lower league clubs whilst let the golden boys run free!

To be fair he's a great chairman is Kevin, but if they owe money to the inland revenue i can understand the RFL being touchy especially given other circumstances with the likes of Wakey and Oldham.

By his calculations the year Widnes won the cup and they finished outside the 6 they made more money than we did??? Numpty! Great chairman but stupid comment, bitterness within this league is just boring now!

Didn't hear him compalining when they upped bar prices when we visited a few years back... NRC split gate? Doubt would of been higher had they played Keighley! |

I’ve got a funny feeling that old fat gob may have recently received a call from SOC’s lawyers asking him to remove his sad little outburst of unsubstantiated lies, because the Batley site is now down. 
And that's the last time I ever go to Batley.
Edit: it's up and running again now, and it's still on. I wonder if we'll get a response from SOC on this? I hope so. |

Everyone seems to want to have a pop at Widnes these days. It's jealousy.
As attacks go though this one is a bit mild. He seems to be lamenting the fact more than anything that not everyone is lucky enough to have a rich owner, although he should have just said as much instead of the extra bit of drivel. I understand clubs frustrations down here, but their focus is often very much misguided. No one as high profile has suffered more for the game than widnes.

Dont see many Leythers having a pop, the books were probably legally massaged but it dont matter, Widnes were selected 3 years ago - enjoy.
What I hope all fans agree on is that British Sport demands P&R, by all means have minimum standards but sport isnt sport without it. |
