I hold no fear in saying the Bulls should be relegated! falling crowds, slipping crowns, antiquated ground with proposals to improve rejected, millions in debt, should we go on?



For far too long now in all sports buisnesses have gotten away with shipshod set ups and =#FF0000Edit-AS poor management, i am of the belief that these clubs be it rl, football, ice hockey, speedway or whatever should be taught a lesson.



if in the real world of buisness board rooms acted like they do in sport then there would be one hell of a mess!



Let them fall on their sword and if they feel there is still an audience than let them start in the lowest tier of the pro game and work their way back up.



We as a club did just that, we paid a heavy price, demotion after demotion and even when we won the old third division we were made to do it again.



There are no short cuts no easy way outs, however throwing cash at a club or simply allowing them to write of debts and reform under revised banners and names is disgusting and unfair to those teams that follow the rules and yearn for a chance in the big league.



So whilst its harsh......let them fold. if there is a true passion for the club it will once again rise from its financial ashes!

I have got to say what you say is true we have got the tee shirt etc but it is not the fans fault like it was not our fault it is the people in charge they can not run a up in a brewery like the ones that were in charge of us

What I don't understand is how every SL club was placed under the microscope during the franchise bids, yet within months of being awarded the Bulls find themselves in serious financial difficulties. This highlights serious deficiencies in the assessment process, in particular regarding budgeting and contingent liabilities.



Furthermore, when the alarm bells started ringing about the Bulls surely the RFL knew the extent of their debts when buying Odsal Stadium. Someone must have known half a million pounds wouldn't be enough to safeguard the Bulls?

Sad situation for the Bulls. Ironic that the VAT due from the sale of Odsal is the main cause of the winding up order.

Yeah they used to get big crowds, but I remember being at a fans forum at Craven Park several years ago when they in their prime, and one of the panel saying Colin Hutton had been speaking to their CEO or chairman at a RFL meeting and being told the average price paid on the gate was something like £6 per head due to all the freebies etc they gave out. Similar thing now with the discounted passes they've sold. I realise you have to attreact new fans to the ground but there comes a point were it becomes financial suicide.

As much as it's nice to see this sort of thing happen to any team, I would hazard a guess they'll get more help from the RFL than we ever did in thre same situation.
