Teddy Blair still making the squad I see.

Oops. Changed it. Bodacious man.

Despite his love handles your personal hate figure Blair looked solid and assured and dare I say reasonably classy for the 35 minutes or so he was on the pitch against Leeds. I expect him to play off the bench again v Wakefield for about 40 minutes at loose forward.

Cockayne should keep his place, Bailey will be a direct squad replacement on the bench for Donaldson and I can only hope Chester sees sense and plays Salter at left centre as the lesser of 2 evils in place of Welham.

I reckon Boudebza and Welham will be left out of the 19.



Does anybody else have alternative thoughts ?

Going to need our biggest pack for this one. The Wakie fans seem to think that's our soft underbelly, and their going to beat us down the middle.



Welham has to be dropped, that performance last weekend was a 'how not to gain a new contract' type performance.



Dixon might be the other to miss out.

Welham certainly wasnt helped by those around him though. Campese jumping out of the line a few times too. we certainly need to do a bit more defence training

I agree, Campese's tackling was woeful at times. Made worse by the efforts from Welham. Out of the two, Welham has to be dropped.

But, Mr Pickering Red, could he be even better? How good could Teddy Blair be if he was properly fit?



Anyway. Looking forward to the game. My helmet and body armour is finished, so my handsome face and life will be protected.

I wonder if the Wakefield team will show as much flare as their fans

I think Dixon has a lot to offer. He won at least 2 penalties running the ball back Sunday. He got made a mug of by Watkins and Briscoe Sunday. Show me a full back who hasn't.

For me he deserves a long run in the side. Welham Salter and Horne though are way below super league standards. Name me four worse players than them in their position in the comp. Horne I like but his defence is awful. Salter offers nothing in attack and his winger gets nothing.

Campese is a good defender but he was next to Horne and welham who were a shambles again.

Blair in the centre for me. Don't care if he is 50 stone he is better than any other option.

I like Donaldson too. Great defence high work rate and ran it better than I expected.

Tough game Sunday but Kelly may win it for us.

For those complaining about campeses tackling since when has a scrum half been recruited for his tackling ability Dobson was crap in defence but again that's not what we bought him for
